Wire Cloth -
These are typically a square opening screen used in most applications to accurately size products in both top and bottom decks of shaker screens, as well as trommel screens.
Harp Screen -
This is a straight wire slotted screen that is tensioned from both ends. This screen has no cross members to hang up material. Its openings are long narrow slots. The wires allow for some vibration, which increases production. These are best used in dry screening applications. They are typically 3/4” opening or smaller and are used in the bottom decks of shaker screens only.
