Parts Sales Specialist


The Parts Sales Specialist is responsible for all parts sales to dealers and end users.  Performs a variety of customer service, marketing and promoting duties related to the sale and delivery of parts that contribute to the profitable operation of the parts department.  This position reports directly to the Director of Marketing.


  • Provide customers with a high level of service in every aspect of the job
  • Assist customers by phone, fax or email to determine correct part to order
  • Generate quote, and complete special order parts requests for the customer
  • Develop packing slips, send orders to Shipping Dept. for fulfillment, coordinate final billing and shipment to customer
  • Manage shipments by researching shipping costs and arranging shipping methods
  • Address and resolve customer’s issues, updating customers on back-ordered parts
  • Increase parts sales by calling customers to enhance relationship
  • Proactive outbound follow up activities to secure openly quoted parts quotes/opportunities.


  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Mechanical or equipment aptitude with the ability to read parts and machinery schematics/diagrams
  • Computer proficiency
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
  • Adaptability to changing tasks and workflows
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
